It’s a cape. It’s a trench coat. No, it is a cape trench coat…
Hello, all the FashShe’s and FashHe’s of Wakanda,
Fashionaire She here, with yet another fashionable post! I don’t know about you guys but I’m so over these freezing cold temperatures and gloomy weather and ready to go watch the sunset in Wakanda already. This week we are welcoming the Spring weather months by serving the last Winter OOTD Slay on the blog for this season. Here I’ll show you guys how I rocked this season’s popping fashion statement: The Cape Trench Coat on my trip to see the new Marvel sensation, Black Panther. Yeah, The Fashionaire She way (in my Migos voice)!
The trench coat and cape trends have literally been on every corner of fashion including runways, magazines to streetwear. I like to think of them as the modern-day crown because it takes a regal type of attitude to properly execute this trend. Additionally, the cape effect makes me feel like a real-life fashion hero. All the Fashies know by now that Fashionaire She is always here to turn it up a notch. So in true Fashionaire She fashion, there is no such thing as too dramatic since we are here for the drama, The cape trench coat trend was no match for our style senses and here’s how Fashionaire She SLAYED it.
This OOTD features a dope, full-length trench coat cape in a stormy grey color with a blush pink lining and matching buttons. The cape itself hangs about an inch longer than the actual coat for even more of a dramatic effect. A wonderful Winter piece due to its thick material and heavyweight make.

With this piece, you don’t have to worry about this harsh Winter air drabbing down your outfit because you’re bundled under layers. Let your coat speak for you and the cape on it serve as the explanation point because it stands alone and serves as a look!

Because I was in a superhero kind of mood, I decided to go with a monochromatic color scheme to compliment my cape trench coat and make a brave fashion statement. I paired it with a sleek pair of grey leather pants and these beautiful fringe open-toed heels. Next, I kept the accessories simple by wearing a simple pair of silver studded earrings for just a tad bit of needed glam and sparkle to the look. The finishing topping for this look is a floppy grey hat in the same grey color to give the outfit more of a cool and effortless vibe.
Two of the things that I love most is, one, fashion and two, a bargain! Needless to say, the best time to buy a coat and other outerwear is when it is out of season. Unfortunately, there is only one of the coat worn in this blog post that can be purchased here. Conveniently, I have the inside connections to the bargain buys and discount codes that all you Fashies have been waiting for.
