Grammy’s Red Carpet: The RED CARPET of this year ‘s 59th annual Grammy Awards took place February 12, in the Los Angeles, California Staples Center and it did not disappoint.
There were celebs everywhere showing off their individual versions of the best “get up” for this year’s biggest night in music, and we must say some of them really turned up the heat with some interesting looks I just couldn’t resist reviewing here on the blog. Here is a look at the
Fashionaire She 2017 Grammy’s Red Carpet F A V S ! both good and bad.
Kicking off the Fashionaire She 2017 Grammy’s Red Carpet F A V S ! is the beautiful Celine Dion in an emerald green Zuhair Murad Couture gown. Next up is Solange Knowles, who literally looked like a Grammy Award in her golden Gucci dress. Carrie Underwood stunned in an exaggerated-sleeved Elie Madi dress with Jimmy Choo Pumps and bold Nigaam diamond jewelry. Then there is Cee Lo Green who says he was “not in attendance at this year’s award ceremony…” instead his alter ego Gnarly Davidson arrived onto the RED CARPET drenched in gold from head-to-toe which included a bizarre gold mask. Demi Lovato bodied a Julien MacDonald showstopper and jewelry by David Yuman for my favorite look of the night. Halsey arrived on the RED CARPET shirtless, paying homage to her favorite music group, TLC, in a royal blue, silk suit. Our ultimate style crush, Rihanna effortlessly looked like the modern day Pop PRINCESS she is, in her two piece Armani Prive gown and J-Chopard adornments. Paris Jackson wore a rainbow-colored, sheer(ish) dress, which was rather intriguing. The worst look of the night would have to go to artist, Joy Villa who wore a Donald Trump inspired gown, which we thought was extremely too political and completely inappropriate for the occasion.
Other blog worthy looks include: Nick Jonas in Balmain, J-Lo in Ralph & Russo with a Christian Louboutin point-toe and Butani accessories, and Taraji P. Henson who we adore but let’s admit wore the worst, ill-fitting Marc Jacobs dress known to man (
sorry, not sorry!), and Chance The Rapper with an impeccable execution of Thom Browne in a pale blue color. Adele in an olive green, floor-length Givenchy Couture gown with a “Lemonade” by Beyonce Knowles inspired Lorraine Schwartz broch; Singer Mya in a bright red suit by Styland; and definitely Katy Perry who paired her Lorraine Schwartz pieces with a flashy Tom Ford ensemble in a pale pink hue.
…to Remy Ma, who wore a blinged-out prom dress so pretty that it won the hearts of every high school senior in America. However, that isn’t the only crowd it appealed to. Again, this Grammy RED CARPET look was very pretty, but not the least bit age appropriate. Hopefully, she can go with something a little more grown and sexy next year.
. . .& Lady Gaga who graced the RED CARPET in an Alex Ulichny production which wasn’t necessarily Grammy attire, but in true GaGa essence was styled to perfection and executed with so much swag you can’t help but love it.
